Blood of Morphaz

Kill Morphaz in the sunken temple of Atal'Hakkar, and return his blood to Greta Mosshoof in Felwood. The entrance to the sunken temple can be found in the Swamp of Sorrows.
Blood of Morphaz

Description

Now the last part, the second cure.

The green drake Morphaz is known to be immune to all forms of poison and disease -- many druids died to bring us this information. There is no doubt his blood is potent for our needs.

A courier from the Cenarion Circle will take the parts you have already collected while you gather the last. Summon your allies and seek out the drake's lair in the sunken temple of Atal'Hakkar. Bring his blood to Greta Mosshoof in Felwood.

If you're leveling as shadowpriest, I strongly suggest taking the Shadow wand. Reasons:
1) Shadow wands benefit from Shadow Weaving,
2) You get better rings and trinkets in Outland,
3) Alternative sources of shadow wands (Scholo, Strat) are rare to find groups for (TBC).
4) Most importantly, you can get the wand pretty early, at level 50.

These quest rewards are made for leveling, not end-game pew pew. See them as such and choose your item. Every single one of them will get replaced sooner or later.

I am a shadow priest, I also went with Woestave. and wow, what a difference in damage when I use my wand now! I'm doing 120+ damage, I use to do 40-60.

If you are a shadow priest I recommend using it.

I am a 60 priest, with my share of epic items equipped - and quite frankly, two out of three rewards are interesting. The trinket is nice, though I would love to know the cooldown for that use. The ring is a nice shadow resist ring, with on top of that a nice +crit chance for your heals - which is great for your fights with Lord Kazzak.... or in BWL, from what I hear, which has its own share of shadow damage. And if Medivh's Tower in Deadwind Pass is really the next instance after Ahn Qiraj, I think people should start stocking up on shadow resist. When the time comes, I will be hard pressed to choose between the two rewards. So, only the wand is useless for me... all in all not bad for a quest 8 levels below me.

Yep, I'm a shadow priest and I took the wand. I found a better shadow wand in UBRS in a week so I disenchanted my old one. What did I learn? Should have taken the trinket.
&nbsp EDIT: Somebody was saying something about that +190 holy damage? It's not damage, it's healing.
&nbsp And probably be holy when you're 60? I'm 60 and shadow. Still no problems finding a group and with talent points the agro can well be handled by the tank.
&nbsp I'm going to try scholomance with a 5 man group with three priests (2 shadow, one holy) in some days or weeks just to see how it works. A 5 man group with a shadow priest and a holy priest works really well: a shadow priest is great DPS and if we get into trouble I can always second hand heal.
&nbsp So don't go to the cliches: "nobody likes a level 60 shadow priest", well ok, some of us don't, but as long as people don't pay for my account, they can just shut up )

Another edit: by the way! Can sobebody try if the 190 healing bonus kicks in with vampiric embrace? That would be so cruel!

There is absolutely no contest here. The trinket is absolutely godly for anything endgame, while all the other items are easily replacable by even the half-bad endgame instances like Schoo or UBRS.

Get the trinket, or you permanently lost out on an insane piece of gear.

As everyone seemed to be focusing the discussion in what reward is better, i noticed that every example they made of better items (either for the wand or the trinket) have a drop chance of something like 0.1% in bosses that probably you won't go to more than a couple of times..
As such, this quest is destined to, with certainty (as the items are rewards), you will get ONE GOOD ITEM. Yes, there is one better stashed in Arthas' panties, but how sure are you that you'll get them panties? And how long are you planing to raid his panties for your item that is A BIT BETTER than yours?

Okay, I understand where some of you shadow priests are coming from. Sure, the wand is nice. But the beads are unique. There's nothing else as good as those in the game. And when you get to endgame, it's likely you'll have to respec to holy, and that trinket is just godly.

I'm a shadow priest myself. I have two seperate sets of equipment: One for healing in an instance (+healing) and one for solo (+damage). It's easy to get a better wand like the ones already mentioned. It's impossible to get a better trinket.

Go for the beads unless you never want to run a high end instance as a priest.

Choose between Woestave and Wand of Qiraji Nobility (https://classicdb.ch/item=53109). Easy huh?
Choose between that ring and Band of Dark Dominion (https://classicdb.ch/item=44692) for Shadow Priests or Band of Unanswered Prayers (https://classicdb.ch/item=53730) for Holy Priests. Easy huh?
Now give me ANY trinket that is better for healing than this one. Do not miss one of the best endgame Priest trinkets in the game, even if you are a Shadow Priest. There are lots of better wands/rings.

The wand looks very nice, but another decent wand - Torch of Austen, always seem to be on the AH at a good price. They must drop often I guess.

So I'd buy the Torch, and pick the trinket as the quest reward.

Considering you can get the Scrying Wand from an ulda quest line a few levels earlier:

and the trinket is most likely better than whatever you are using now (luffa and carrot on a stick anyone?), were back to the trinket being the no brainer.

I've had 3 priests and I took a different reward on all 3. Without a doubt the trinket is the way to go; With a 2 minute cooldown I'm poppin this thing every 3rd fight or so while soloing and the increase in damage is noticable. I can see using this for quite a while.

Alright, lets think about this people. Yes, the Trinket is all well and good (godly, as some of you say), but the wand is good too, especially for a shadow priest. I have a shadow priest (this is my second, btw) and I'll still be taking the wand. Lets face it, you have to Get the ST wand to drop, or any other, and not everyone wants to do AV for a wand (especially a +Frost dmg wand as a priest). As far as the trinket goes, any good priest Doesn't need it, as they can manage mana and heals in an instance without needing the boost. Sure it's nice, but is it Absolutely Needed? No, it isn't. As was posted earlier, when someone starts paying for my account, they can tell me what to take, but until then, all you're doing is offering opinion (that isnt always wanted). And don't Assume that just because some can do MC, that Everyone can. If you want the trinket, take it ... you want the wand, take it. But don't tell people what they should and shouldn't chose. It's not anyone's place to do so.

Whoever said that it was only "up tp 190" bonus is right, but this is exactly the same as any other healing bonuses, it just says it clearly on this item. +healing is based on base cast time. Greater Heal gets almost all of the +190 while flash heal gets less than half. This is true for ALL +healing, whether or not it says "up to".

I'm a shadow priest and thinking when i am endgame raiding i will collect healing gear for when my dps is not required. Tempted to get the wand but after reading the comments i agree this trinket is godly, I thought the cooldown would be 30mins making it so so. but 2 minutes? this is a god send for that extra healing to save you from a whipe imo. It's definetly going to be with me at all times for instances.

Those dragons are not linked and not all that difficult to pull seperately.&nbsp Yes it does take a bit of time and careful timing.&nbsp The one is also solo-able if you know what you are doing.&nbsp I begged my group to let me try and they were all rooting for the dragon (53 paly btw and before 1.9).&nbsp It took everything I had and I almost died like three times, but I pulled it out in the end.&nbsp It was a blast, and now everybody makes jokes about me being able to solo everything in the game (which, of course, I can't)!&nbsp And the priest in our group got his TRINKET for it.&nbsp (Um, yeah, he is a holy priest <grin>.)

I also have a shadow priest, but I think I would still go with the trinket.&nbsp A quested priest only trinket with that kind of +healing is just too good to pass up.

It wasnt any big problem to solo this as a shadow priest. I just followed Elerion's guide and used a invisibility potion and a mana potion. I have semi-epic pvp gear and about +230 spelldmg. Not too imba. This should be doable, and I also pulled both dragons.
