Find the haunted island for Baron Revilgaz in Booty Bay.

Description

If there is indeed a goblin mage and water elementals haunting the island, it could mean the Stone of the Tides can be mine!

I want you to locate this haunted island... find out what's going on. Oh, and if you perhaps want to find out more about the Stone of the Tides, take this scrip to the Stormwind Library, they should be able to find you a copy of the book I first came across the legend in.

Could it be that Gazban actually discovered the Stone...?

Located at 21,21, or the lone island directly West of Nesingwary's camp.&nbsp For those of you familiar with those <censored> basilisks, its off the shore from them.

Stormwind Library aspect is only to get a history book with more info about the area.&nbsp Not necessary to complete the quests

1) you get the quest to discover the island... cake.. walk inland a tiny bid then it's done..and it will say COMPLETE on your quest log for discovering the island.&nbsp If not.. KEEP WALKING AROUND.

2) I think you have to kill water elem's to get bracers.

3) it goes on to other quests...but part of the reward (or items obtained FOR the quest, but not necessary to DO it) is a LIBRARY SCRIP.

4) take it to 1 of the 2 librarians in the SW keep library (take the first left in the keep and stay right to get to the library)&nbsp He will then inturn give you 1 of 2 books.

One about Morgan Ladimore (which I found to be 1/2 way interesting, but also can be obtained for the duskwood quest line that involves killing him)

Other one is something about the gurubashi arena which I haven't yet read... 11 pages.

I HEAR that only 1 of the two books has a vend price.. I know that the gurubashi one vends for 25c :(&nbsp ..not sure about the other one.

It's located in the NW corner of STV almost due west of the Bal'lal Ruins. There are a bunch of water elementals on the island, and you may have to run around a bit before it'll recognize that you discovered it. I had to go there twice due to that, not sure if it was lag or what.

Talk to Donyal Tovald in the SW Library. He doesn't have a "?", but will talk to you and offer you either "The Story of Morgan Ladimore" or "Legends of teh Gurubashi, Volume 3" in exchange for your Scrip.

One should be aware that the beaches nearest to the island have Elder Saltwater Crocolisks (NPC #2635) that are Elite and as high as level 38.

The isle is just off the coast southwest from ruins of Zul'Kunda not the yojamba isle but the bigger one next to it!

The isle is almost exactly west of the zul'kunda ruins. its the larger isle near the yojamba island if you pull up your WOW map itll show you one of them is called the vile reef

I woukld suggest to take the "Gurubashi Legends Part 3"

Therein u find some information about the "Stone of Tides", exactly what the NPC told u : "Get the Book if u want further information"

proper location is 20,23. there's a little goblin called gazban on the island... approach him and the quest will complete. the goblin is friendly to alliance, dunno about horde, but probably.

Too easy, i done it at lvl 33, just swam out to the island took a few steps and quest was done.

When you accept the quest, Baron Revilgaz also gives you an item, Library Scrip, as referred to in the quest text. You may not realize that he has added it to your bag at the time.

It turns in to Donyal Tovald at 72, 8 in Stormwind Library who has no quest marker but gives you the quest Stormwind Library. The Library Scrip is required to complete the quest. As of this date, there appears to be no value to doing the quest and turning in the scrip - no reward or reputation of any kind and no follow on quest or other activity. It is apparently just a story-line activity.

Easy answer:

The Haunted Isle is on the very north west of the Stranglehorn Vale near the small peninsula. Be carefull because there are several elites (approx. 39 lvl) and few water elementals. To complete the quest you must climb on the small hills which are there.

When I was doing that quest I was 37lvl mage. I put all my resistances and doubled my speed to flee through the isle.

An easy quest.

The quest also takes in the library in Stormwind Keep - but no quest marker comes up - probably covered in one of the sub quests - , but helpful to know here - speak to the librarian

This is NOT the island found in the extreme NW, which has level 60 elites. It's the bigger island slightly closer in, west of Bal'lal Ruins.

For CTMod and Titanbar users, this island is at roughly 20,22.

It is a small island (about the size of Booty Bay itself) which you can find off the coast in the northwest of Stranglethorn Vale. It is west of Bal'lal Ruins and southwest of Zul'Kuna, as has been stated.

Also note that (as has been stated), it is NOT the tiny island at the very, very northwest. This island is populated by a troll tribe and it is not what you are looking for.

The "haunted island" is full of level 36-37 Lesser Water Elementals. At this quest's level they should be a cinch to defeat if you run into any. Be warned that they roam underwater, too.
A goblin named Gazban wanders the island, "fading in and out of reality" (hence why he appears stealthed). You will not have any interaction with him at this point in the quest, so don't worry about him.

I went to the island,saw the Goblin, saw it say complete and it shows in my quest log as complete...but it won't remove from my quest log. Is there something else i have to do to "really" complete this? I even went to the Stormwind library and turned in the script but it is still showing active (though complete) in my quest log. HELP. Should i just "abandon it" at this point?
