Razzeric's Tweaking

Retrieve the Seaforium Booster for Razzeric in the Shimmering Flats.
Seaforium Booster

Description

Pozzik's a great mechanic, I know that, but he's afraid to just load on the firepower and grab on for the ride. Not me, though.

After Pozzik finishes with a racer, I take a little time to put my own modifications on--you know, loosening up the controls, removing parts of the frame, and adding more juice!

I ordered a seaforium booster from Shreev at the Gizmorium in Gadgetzan, but apparently the zeppelin it was being sent on crashed in Dustwallow Marsh! I gotta have it, <name>!

Zoom the world map out until you can see the continent. Draw a line from Gadgetzan north to Ratchet. The crash is on that path apparently zepplins go straight down when something goes wrong. :-)

55,51 - is the 'entrance' over the mountains. If you came from the water, that is. The mobs in the water and around the crash site are 39-43. You can easily do this at 36ish..just watch the aggro and you're fine. I also find that aggro around the actual crash site is none-existent.

You're able to cut across the water from Theramore to get to the crash site faster, but it's a little difficult to find a way over the hills blocking the shoreline. Watch out for aggressive mobs on the way, in the water as well.

I am new to WoW and the area and I went DIRECTLY south of the only guard tower I saw and ended up WAY off course. So here are my directions for new folks: Get yourself to Theramore Isle. Go NW out of town following the road. At approximately 59,41 there will be a guard tower on the left side of the road. Go behind it and start to swim SW. If the guardtower was the center of a clock you would be heading toward the "seven" on the dial. You will want to hit land across from guardtower at approximately 55,50. Go up the hill (watch for large spiders and Swamp Ooze - both in the low 40s) and head inland in a slightly Southwestly direction. The wreakage and box (you are looking for a box to open) is located at 54, 56.

I managed to do this quest without dieing and without having to fight a single creature/foe.

I walked from Ratchet over the shore line from about Northwatch Hold to Dustwallow Marsh. I entered the water near Theramore Isle and swam under its bridge (since I'm horde) towards the more western shore. In between the bridge and the shore are some sea creatures, which you can easily evade.
After swimming by Theramore, I exited the water at about 58.52. If you look around a bit there, you can find a way up the mountain. There's a level 40/41 giant spider there, which you can sneak by if your timing is right. Once you're past it you can walk to the south over the mountain foot, to evade a few slimes. Then you'll see the wreck and can retrieve the crate.

How you get out is up to you. I hearthstoned.

Coords are correct, There are a few quest you can do here

Here is the list:
Secure the Cargo!
&
Corrosion Prevention

Note: Do all of the Quest before you hand anything in. The Oozes are a Pain but if you use the Ooze Buster you get for the Corrosion Prevention Quest it is very easy!

Also if you hold it until you get the Quest Ledger From Tanaris you will need to come back for the Damaged Create
although around level 46 you should have no issues with the Oozes, it's up to you!

Good Luck

Not having explored the swamps yet, I went out the road to the first sentry point, then crossed the water. I'm only lvl 39, so I can fight if I need to, but just dodged all the mobs and made it to the other side, and found a little way up the shore right by the crash site.

OK for those of us without cosmos the easiest thing is to go to the inlet south of Theramore swim directly SOUTH from the first sentry tower, go up the hill and there you are at the crash site. Hope this helps.

It is at Bezzle's Wreck. If you look at the map Arathi Highlands look for Bezzle's Wreck it is in the center of that area. A lot easier to figure out if you dont have cords.

You can also get there by getting to Theramore dock and swim all the way west, then you just climb the mountain and down again to get to the crash site.

I found about 2-3 treshers on my way there swimming, but if you can take them down then there's no prob.

Using info from this thread I easily solo'd (as 39 warrior), without making contact with any mobs at the site. Did it in 10 minutes, going vewy vewy carefully along the route suggested. Finding it without directions would have been a nightmare.

due south of the 1st sentry tower outside the gates of Theramore, across the inlet, up the hill, and bingo, the site is on the other side. strictly for clarity I'd like to add that you need to follow the island chain which crosses the inlet, keeping SOUTH, and follow it to the first land-fall you see. If you go absolutely dead-on south, you might think it's across the wider part of the inlet a degree or two south of where the islands swing to the right. But it's the narrower part of the inlet, and the top of the hill is visible. Easy to avoid mobs, just tip-toe over the hill and you'll see a swath of broken tree trunks leading south, as if a plane had crashed and left a trail of broken forest. Follow that trail to the downed zeppelin, where the box with the quest item is easily found with a mouse roll-over. Saw no mobs guarding the box.

the only tense part was crossing the inlet while avoiding low-40's sea threshers and murlocs between and on the islands. only had to thrash a couple of individual murlocs, no threshers.

huge exp and rep!

If you're coming in on the site from the water, there's a point at 56,51 that you can ascend to get close...

Avoids dealing with the 40+ critters on the south side approach...just have to be careful of the spiders and slimes....ran through at 35 with no aggro...although I used Eye of Kilrogg to scout the path :)

To get into the area, I find it easiest to take the road up to Theramore, and then swim across the bay. There is a point at (55,50) where you can climb up into the crash site. The box itself rests at (54, 56), on the left side of the zeppelin. (Or at least that is where it was when I went I'm not sure if it has a random spawn point.)

This is also the same area you must come to for the "Overdue Package" for the Ledger from Tanaris quest, so don't forget it!

Should we look on the deck or in the lower parts of the ship. cause I couldn't find it anywhere...

It's inland a little ways, you have to go north a bit to get up on the land, then inland and kinda SW.
