I'd suggest saving your xp bar and go for the Master Hunter's Rifle/Bow instead and pick up some other good armor along the quest line.

I used about 2 hours to complete the whole chain as a 36 dr00d. 25k exp in total =)

As of patch 2.3 the amount of xp needed to level is 36,300. If this quest is still worth the total of 12330, then you're looking at 6.8 bars- about 1/3 of your entire xp bar needed to complete the entire chain. If however it is around 25,000 like some previous posters have suggested (lets say 24660xp because doubling it brings it pretty close and Blizz doesn't like round numbers) , then you will need a bit more than 2/3 of your xp bar or 13.6 bars. If that is the case... I think it's a bit excessive for a chain that consists mostly of talking to people around the world.

I'm hoping it's at most around 18,000, because I only have half my xp left before leveling.

note: These numbers don't reflect any xp gained by the killing of mobs or zoning into undiscovered territory.

for u guys whos short on exp space and want those gloves i can safely tell ya that the last quest yields 1150 exp. if ur above that and wana keep ur twink under lvl 30 i sugest u go to SM and get the dog training gloves ( http://classicdb.ch/?item=7756 ) instead or the wolfclaw gloves ( http://classicdb.ch/?item=1978 )

I recommend NOT to get these as a 29 hunter after doing the STV and if you want a boar as a pet, basicly when you ding 28, you will go to STV for the quest, your pet will be a fresh 27, the entire STV chain will bring you about 20-30% in 29. (Without getting experience from mobs by chasing some booster in ghost form, you dont have to be able to see the mobs to get the kills.)
After this I grinded my pet to 29 on the kolkar in 1k needles (lvl 24-25).. this brought me to 47% into lvl 29.. Thats basicly 19-20k spare xp before lvl 30. This quest chain (razzeric gloves) will take about 14015 xp without exploring, without killing mobs. This will leave you about a spare 5k xp... And you can burn trough this easier then you think. Exploring areas when you are going to the WSG/AB quartermaster.. and maybe killing 1 or 2 mobs on your way with rested bonus... Turning in a daily AB/WSG quest for 2300xp each...

You CAN get them, but its risky.. and I'd rather be safe... These are imo the best gloves, but there are also other gloves wich are pretty nice... IE wolfsclaw gloves... basicly the +15 agi enchant will do the most... Of the monkey will do nice as well... Its not as good.. Its not ULTIMATE.. but it will work and save you from a twinks nightmare. A DING

bha ....and think i make this quest at level 45.....time to spend :)

The only reason for doing this quest is for the reward, for 29 twinks then.
