Description

You see, I have no idea how I ended up here. No one really knows -- it's a secret to everybody! I just can't seem to remember anything...

These items you brought to me, though... I am remembering something.

My sword. I am supposed to strengthen it somehow, but I'm really not sure why. Sorry I can't tell you more, but I just don't remember!

Anyhoo, I do know where you can take it -- Donova Snowden in Winterspring. You'll find her by the hot springs. She can temper the sword by the pools there.

Donova explains that the pond next to her have some kind of strange power. When she throws in an item it has improved when she retrives it. This is a reference to "The Legend of Zelda A Link To The Past" Where Link throws in his boomerang, his shield and finaly his sword in a magic pond to upgrade them

for those with lighthead this is the 3th part of [It's a Secret to Everybody] you need to travel to Winterspring and Donova Snowden is located (31, 45) just south of the cave.

I suggest leaving this whole quest line or atleast the last 7 quests until you hit 57. It is very easy XP and will make your gola of getitng to outlands all that bit easier.

It starts at a boat.&nbsp Head to the marshy area in the southeast part of Un'goro crater.&nbsp There are two separated ponds all the way to the south.&nbsp The east one has a little island in it (see map) and the west one has Linken's raft.

The raft is on the north shore of this pond.&nbsp Examine it and then swim right there to the bottom of the pond and find a pack.&nbsp Open it and empty the contents.&nbsp Return to Linken... and so begin's the great trek.

is there any other way into Winterspring besides through Felwood? I cant get through the tunnel at lvl 50 because of the furbolgs (or w/e they are called)

kinda funny that they have a quest involving Nintendo's "link"en here. Kinda like how the gorillas in UnGoro drop empty barrels (donkey Kong). Good ol Blizzard and thier sense of humor.

This quest has you going to talk to Donova Snowden in Winterspring. There is also another quest in Un'Goro that has you going to Winterspring to talk to Donova. The quest is "Finding the Source." Do both these quests b4 you take off for Winterspring or you will hafta make two trips. I found out the hard way and am very upset. I get so aggravated at all of the traveling required in WoW.

I dont know what to say to u ppl...blizzard pay homage to their own games, and the ones we all grew up on (those of us that have grown up), in thousands of places throughout WoW, if u feel the need to post about how "lame" it is, then yes, STFU.

Seriously though..get the timbermaw faction grind right 1st time, its a real pain to grind after u mess it up.

For people using Cosmos or Tian - 31,45.

If you haven't visited Winterspring before you need to the Timbermaw Ally quest to lower your reputation with the Timbermaws to unfriendly. I found if you do the quest twice this will lower your rep to unfriendly which will allow you to pass through unmolested or you can run through if feel like a challenge.

Donova Snowden in Winterspring is located just to the right when you exit the caves (Timbermaw Hold) and enters Winterspring. She has her little tent beside a hot spring.

this is where the quest log on WOW starts to leave out a part. Donova does not hand you back the sword but gives you the Videre Elixer quest - it is real important when you get the Elixer to go back to Donova, she uses one elixer for the sword, that leaves you 2 to drink when you get to the gravesite.
