Aquementas

Take the Book of Aquor, the Silvery Claws, and the Irontree Heart to Tanaris.

Use the Book of Aquor to summon Aquementas.

After you have the completed totem, take it to J.D. Collie in Marshal's Refuge.
Silver Totem of Aquementas
Provided Item:
Eridan's Supplies

Description

Take this bag of supplies with you to Tanaris. Travel to Lost Rigger Cove, and look for a circle of stones.

The eastmost peninsula is the secret...

From this circle only, read from the book of Aquor; summon the only creature that can transform the items you collected into a totem to fight Blazerunner.

Aquementas will not be pleased to be awakened, but remember, you must remain in the circle for him to transform the items.

Remember to take ALL the items out from the pack (claws, heart and book) or else you won't get his totem.

To find the summoning circle (located at 70,49 - here):
  • Head down to the Lost Rigger Cove in Tanaris.
  • Bear right and go past all the small pirate camps, keep close to the mountain.
  • Jump over 2 wooden walls and go past the main camp.
  • Keep right and you'll run into the "summoning" circle (it is a couple of stones layed out).
Make sure you have opened the pack and have the 3 items (Silvery Claws, Book of Aquor, Irontree Heart) in your inventory, else you wont receive the totem. Kill Aquementas and you'll receive the Silver Totem of Aquementas in your inventory (make sure you have space!!).
Maybe they changed it, but you do have to kill Aquentus before you receive the totem.

70,50 SW of the Lost Rigger Cove (Pirate Camp)

Summon the mob, he transforms your items and unfortunately, you have to kill him.

Make sure you stay inside the circle otherwise you won't get the totem.

If I recall correctly, the phrase "The eastmost peninsula is the secret..." is a reference to the first Zelda game when the old man in the first temple gives you a hint: "The eastmost peninsula is the way."

Also since it hasn't been mentioned, in the game for the Super Nintendo, you throw a stone into a circle of stones to get an artifact that gives you a powerful spell.

Go south until you see the walled pirate city.&nbsp Go right , to the back. Aggro the pirates if you want. The follow the wooden fence all the way around until it ends against the mountain. You can jump the fence to get INTO the compound. Then jump OUT again and voila...you'll see the circle of Aquementas. YOU MUST EMPTY the contents of the pack into your inventory BEFORE you fight him. Do that.. Go into circle. Right click on book and it will summon him.. He will be friendly, then he'll get mad and turn on you. Defeat him (Im lvl 55 Shammy and it took me 4 turns, Chain light, ES, WF w/ staff and ES again). It will automatically create the totem and put it into your inventory. Quest finished..

Peice of Cake..Reading all the stuff on here had me worried as usual..

Ahh, well I spoke too soon. It seems to block off the exit and you have to fight your way OUT of the pirate compount now that you try and jump back over the fence.. either that or swim around.. lol

Make sure you got enough bagpace when you open this bag! (At least 3 spots).
Costed me an trip to felwood and back because I coudnt loot the other 2 items anymore from the bag, after i got 1 out of it. It says something like: You cant loot that target, and then the bag is gone.

After you turned the quest in, you can destroy the items left in your bag.

I also looted the book and lost the other items. Here's what CS told me:
Thank you for contacting the World of Warcraft Game Master Department.

Answer: I have investigated this issue and found that in order to re-attempt this quest, you would need to destroy the remaining quest item, the Book of Aquor, and abandon the quest. You will then be able to talk to the quest NPC, Eridan Bluewind of the Felwood, and re-obtain the quest. When you re-obtain this quest, you will receive the item Eridan's Supplies which should contain another book of Aquor and the missing Silvery Claws (11) and Irontree Heart (1) so that you will be able to attempt to create the Silver Totem of Aquementas once more.
I'm going to try it this afternoon...

I didn't even need to kill Aquementas, as soon as he turned red it said that I got the Silver Totem of Aquementas so I ran lol. I was still able to turn the quest in even though I didn't kill him. Also, make sure that you take everything out of the bag that you get, meaning the claws, irontree heart, and the book, otherwise you WILL NOT get the totem.

Stokedwindsurfer: That is very possible, I completed this quest in the early days of WoW so Blizz probably got smart and fixed it.

I have the boomerang from the "too dangerous to go alone" quest and I still have silvery claws and irontree heart in my inventory.

Can these be destroyed now? I cant imagine me needing them later.

I really hate these quests that leave items in your bags.

I finally found the circle of rocks thich is, indeed, SW of the pirate camp past the boats in the camp.&nbsp When you pass the boats and the camp itself you see a clear area with some trees it looks sorta like a clearing with a dead-end.&nbsp You do not see the rocks from the coast so don't be fooled.&nbsp Keep going toward the dead-end and you'll see the circle of rocks.&nbsp When I took the items out of the bag it disappeared and I then had only the claws and the heart in my inventory.&nbsp He turns hostile immediately and watch that you never go too close to the edge of the circle in case he knocks you back.&nbsp The prompt tells you that Aquementas transforms the items and since I had my inventory open I saw the Silver Totem appear in my inventory, showing it is not necesary to kill him.&nbsp After you get the totem you just deliver it to J.D. Collie in Marshall's Refuge in Un'Goro Crater.&nbsp

it is slightly south and west of the pirate camp.&nbsp there is a large circle of stones.&nbsp use the book in there, and aquementas will yell and come to the stones. you have to stay in the stones until he turns agro, but I don't think you have to kill him.

After getting the pack I just wanted to check on what she gave me and took out the book, but left the 2 materials in it and closed the pack because of bagspace, unfortunetly the next time I went to open ( a week or two later) it gave me the "you don not have permission to loot that" closed the window and deleted the bag, i think it's just some buged programming on blizzards part, but beware if you open the bag make sure to take everything out!

If you have this happen just abandon the quest and return to the emerald sanctum, abandon the quest distroy the items you have and pick it up again, she'll give you a new pack with everything you need!

Directions as per above are correct: 70,50 circle of boulders nestled near the mountains just east of Caverns of Time.

If you look on yr map - it is due east of the Caverns of Time (on shore side of hills/mountains).&nbsp The reference to the easternmost peninsula is a bit misleading that way.&nbsp It is tucked in among some hills.

Definitely open the pack & get all items in yr inventory - then when he begins to attack, the silver totem will be created.&nbsp I ended up killing him cuz figured he'd just follow me.

it's a long series - so those who don't have it will need to click back to earlier quests re linken.

Good Luck!

You have to open the supplies to get your book, silvery claws and irontree heart.

Tanaris loc is 70, 49 where you will find the circle of rocks.

Easy quest. Just use the book in the circle and banish him, if you're a warlock, once the elemental reaches the circle.

just solo'd as a lvl 50 rogue

note that the circle of stones is located near the pirate camp. i had a little trouble finding it. it is near the mountain side of lost rigger cove. follow the cost and you'll find it eventually.

i didnt even do anything. i summoned him as usual, made sure i had bag space and everything. as soon as he entered the ring and turned hostile it said i had the wand. i hit vanish and got out of there. piece of cake
