Description

I do not know the one you speak of, <name>.

But worry not; if your friend was on a journey to find me, I do know what it was he desired.

In the heart of Un'Goro Crater dwells evil of the purest form. This evil takes the shape of an elemental called Blazerunner... protected by an aura that none can dispel...

None... except those with enough power to do so. I can teach you of this power, <name>.

First, do as I ask. Collect 11 Silvery Claws and 1 Irontree Heart from the creatures in Felwood, then return.

Felpaw Ravagers in the 56, 25 (northeast) area of Felwood are great for the Silvery Claws, they give around 40% droprate.

The Irontree Heart drops from the Treants in the Irontree Woods area, got mine from an Irontree Stomper after about 5 kills.

CLAWS:
Great place to farm, 9-11 wolves and bears hanging out there. AND, if you take a nice, slow killing rate, they will respawn.

FOR THOSE WITH COORDS:
56,12

FOR THOSE WITHOUT COORDS:
It is the little cove like thing just below Felpaw village.

NOTE:
If you start out at the Flight Point and kill bears and wolves on the way to the other bears and wolves you ought to get 11 of the claws.

HEART:
The logical place to get this it the Irontree Woods. I got mine first try.

FOR THOSE WITH COORDS:
50, 16

FOR THOSE WITHOUT COORDS:
It is east and across the road from Jadefire Run or south of Irontree Cavern.

Watch out for big trees.

Entrance to Irontree Woods at 49,15 with many Stompers as you enter.

All the Felpaw Scavengers you can grind at 44,70

Claws are dropped by any beast, with claws. Irontree Heart is dropped by Irontrees which hang out in the 49,29 area

silvery claws drop off of all the bears and wolves you can find. the heart I'm having trouble getting- but it's no big deal to slaughter a few hundred irontree stompers.

Took me about six kills to get the Irontree thing.

The toughest claws for me were numbers 1 and 11. Like a lot of WoW quests, this started off slow but was almost 100% drop rate after I got the very first one.

I was killing the bears and wolves in the northernmost part of Felwood, above Irontree Woods and to the east of it. Nice quiet spot there, just farm away.

I got the best drop rate for the silvery claws off the Angerclaw Maulers level 49-50. Slightly northeast of the horde outpost(Bloodvenom post, I believe). Also if you are a Skinner and Leatherworker this is a good way to get leather while doing a quest.

Basically the drop rate isn't that bad. I got the heart on the 3rd kill off a Irontree Stomer at /tloc 44 23. Get this first, then when you get it start heading back to bloodvenom falls and kill the Angerclaws (about 80% drop rate) and the Felpaw Scavengers (about 60% drop rate) which are found just off the path the whole way down to Bloodvenom falls... hope this clears thing us for you all.

Irontree Stompers (about level 52) drop the Irontree Hearts (south of the road beginnig at 45,22).&nbsp The bears, wolves and scavengers drop the Silvery Claws.&nbsp The higher the level, the higher the drop rate from what I can determine.&nbsp I stuck to the dogs because I needed Tender Wolf Meat.

I just completed this questline.

The irontree heart dropped after the 2nd kill from the Wanderers and Stompers.

The drop rates according to my loot watch for the Silvery Claws were around 60% on the Bears in
southern Felwood and never dropped on anything but Maulers in mid-northern Felwood at a rate of 30-40%

When you go to summon Aquementas the items are NOT consumed in the creation of the totem but you may trash them after the totem has been created.

the claws dropped extremely quickly for me. the first 7 I had on the first 7 mobs, took about 20 mobs total for 11 claws. I killed bears and wolves on the way to the irontree camp.

the heart, however took me 29 kills. that's about 30 minutes.

Got my 11 silvery claws in 20 kills circling around a large tree at about 43,66 in southern Felwood.&nbsp Then went further north and got the irontree heart from 2nd stomper around 51,22.&nbsp Also collected most of the blood amber for Cleansing Felwood quest from the warpwood elementals further uphill of the stompers.&nbsp Looted lvl 44 mail bracers that I can't use but can probably get 1.5g for at AH or give to guildee.&nbsp Took a while but good XP and multi-questing so worth the effort.

Get the quest from Emerald Sanctuary(50,80) and start heading towards Irontree Woods(48,23).
get off the road and on your way to irontree woods kill all beasts you see by the time you reach irontree you should have all claws.

I got all of the Silvery claws from the lvl 48ish bears and wolves near the quest giver.&nbsp They spawn pretty often.&nbsp As for the heart, i got mine of an Irontree Wanderer.&nbsp the quest is pretty simple. Good luck!

The Bears and wolves are located around 55.25 east of Irontree Woods. Droprate off the bears was 25% and 36% off the wolves. As for the Irontree Heart, I got that on my second Irontree Stomper.

had no probs with this quest at all. Killed the bears and wolves around 45,73 and got the claws within about 20 kills, then rode up to irontree woods and got the heart off the first irontree stomper i killed.

This is after the patch though, so its possible droprates have been increased :)

The drop rate may have been upped lately, but I got the heart on my first tree kill. The silvery claws seems like they drop more than half the time from the wolves and bears that have chunks taken out of them.

Turn right off the road when you get to 44,23
you will find Irontree Stompers around 44,25

My luck must be the exact opposite of everybody elses.

I killed a total of 15 bears and wolves and got all of my claws. Not a bad drop rate at all! 11 out of 15. That's like 2 out of 3 will drop it.

Gay irontrees.

I'm soloing this quest as a 48 warrior right now (alt+tab :D ) and i'm on my 11th tree.

Nothing.

And those things aren't easy to kill when they are 4 to 5 levels above you!

For the Silver Claws I went to the small river north and a touch west of Emerald Sanctuary(loc 45, 72) and killed the piles of wolves and bears on either side. Got about a 1/3 to 1/4 drop rate so it went pretty quick with so many mobs around. For the Irontree Heart I went to Irontree Woods(southwest of Felpaw Village, loc 49, 24) and got the drop off the first tree I killed. A grand total of twenty minutes or so, but fun to do none the less =)

Back out by 45,71 is a great spot for 10+ scavengers all together.

The drop rate of the silver claws is really high and easy nwo, btw, so don't worry about getting screwed by a bad drop rate on them.

I play on Azsune (EU) and decided to have the boomerang for the fun of it. But this part of the quest line make me want to commit a suicide. I got the Irontree Heart from my first kill, and 10 Silver Claws from 10-15 Bears/Wolves... but the 11th Silver Claw didn't drop! I killed maybe 50-70 bears/wolves but it didn't drop! If my guild didn't call me for a raid people could find a delirious Warrior in Felwood killing every bear and wolf he could find...
I'll go try my luck once more, but this is really ridiculous!
