Find an uncorrupted furbolg, and using the power of Dartol's Rod of Transformation, speak to him.

Description

Alas, I'm not completely certain what he had in mind next.

If what he said was true about the rod's power, then it will allow you to take on another form altogether. Which form, I do not know.

Perhaps he meant to use its powers to get closer to the tainted furbolgs, but even the uncorrupted creatures would slaughter him were he not careful. Transformed by the rod, Dartol would have to speak to a furbolg who was safe from the effects of Fel Moss.

I would start your search southeast of Mystral Lake.

Got 1700 exp and 82 Darnassus rep for speaking to Krolg after finding him.

Made my way to Ran, killed him, robbed him of his skull, killed 4 guards, ran back to Krolg.

Got 2450 exp and 110 Darnassus rep for turning skull into Krolg.

Entrance to this npc is at 53 72&nbsp follow the torch's up make sure to use the rod before talking to him last 3 minutes plenty of time. Once your a furlong cross by using the broken tree.If you want to keep the rod just dont turn in the last part of the quest and it's yours for as long you dont delete it :-)

The three-minute time limit can be shortened by attacking any creatures nearby (such as the Ghostpaw) you transform back immediately. Too bad since I was looking forward to fighting as a furbolg.

its a little handy to transform into a furbolg before confronting him.

when i saw him, he attacked me, i hit him once and my pet kept attacking. i realised i had to transform, but by the time i did and he became nonhostile my pet killed him.

if youre talking to him and the tranform time runs out, does he attack you when you change back to your normal form?

The uncorrupt furbolg is called Krolg, lvl 9. You will find him at the top of the waterfall at Mystral Lake. There is a path near the SE side of the lake, lit by torches that leads up to his camp. Don't kill him as other posts say. Before you walk up to him, use your rod to transform, he will then have a quest ? mark to complete the quest. He then gives you the next quest to kill Ran and the guards, which you will find if you follow the path back down the hill and go straight where you first turned right, then jump off the rocks down to the corrupt camp. Lot's of spiders and wolves too.

If you hit the Bloodtooth camp you just need to go a little east. (These guys are "corrupt") You should be able to find a path, and if you still can't, then transform into the furbolg and head south of Mystral Lake. Being transformed you should be able to see the yellow dot on your mini map if you are close enough.

Krolg is northwest of the Bloodtooth Camp and south of Silverwind Refuge. The waterfall is clearly visible from Silverwind Refuge. Stand next to Danlaar Nightstride and face south.

You cannot use disguise to walk between another furbolgs. They attack you.
It's really only that uncorrupted furbolg.......

The transformation is for another mobs only "decoration" of yourself.

I found it by swimming into Mystral lake and swimming out the eastern shore, then followed the tiki torches. He has a hut on a cliff directly above the lake.
