Description

You'll have to do the research yourself, but from what notes Teronis has made, it sounds like your next course of action is to find the other pieces of the rod Dartol created. I would start by heading to the moonwell east of Iris Lake. When you're ready, follow the road and turn north when you reach a small sitting area on your left.

A dryad there named Shael'dryn is better suited to guide you. Seek her out.

Keep the gem with you--Shael'dryn will need it if she's to help you recreate the rod.

There's a quest right before this one in the chain.&nbsp Here are the steps of that quest:

1) Talk to Raene Wolfrunner in Astranaar.

2) Go to the island in Lake Falathim (in the hollow southwest of Maestra's Post).&nbsp Talk to the corpse there (Teronis's Corpse).&nbsp Look up "Teronis" if you can't find it.

3) Kill murlocs until the glowing gem drops.&nbsp I killed lots of them on shore, and it didn't drop, but my first kill of the oracles right around the island dropped it.&nbsp May have been just luck, but I'd start by clearing the ones around the island.

4) Go back to Raene Wolfrunner and turn in the gem.

The coordinates are, indeed, correct at 53,46.&nbsp What coordinates don't tell you is how to get there.&nbsp If you approach from the road near Raynewood Retreat you won't be able to get in - plus you'll face level 27 aggressives.

Head east of Iris Lake and look for a dirt path leading into the nook of the mountains.&nbsp You'll see some level 20-ish bears meandering about.&nbsp Look for the trademark Night Elf arch and the dryad just beyond.

This is the third step in the Raene's Cleansing quest. After finding Teronis' corpse at Lake Falathim and retrieving a gem from one of the murlocs, take the gem to Shael'dryn at the moonwell. The moonwell can be found to the east of astranaar. Follow the main road south out of astranaar (which will then curve and head east) until you come to a dirt path which will head to the south into a small village of foulweald furbolgs. Do NOT take this path south. Instead, turn immediately to the north and run in a straight line (perhaps slightly to the northeast from here). You will eventually come to a small grove type area with a blink dragon. If you see a blink dragon, you are in the right place! Kill this small dragon if you wish, otherwise follow the lamps to Shael'dryn, she will be standing in front of the moonwell. She will give you the next quest in this chain.

directly east of iris lake there are hills...you need to either go around or over those hills and follow the path north, then east on the other side. its in a sneaky spot

For those of you without map coords, try this. Stay on the main road going east of Ashenvale. Keep walking until you come to a finger of water coming off of Iris Lake. A short distance (50-100 yrds?) past this finger&nbsp of water there is a small broken down stone pillar and a few other pieces of debris next to the main trail on the left. Also notice that small brown bench with a book on it. That will be needed later on in another quest in this series. Go due north a few hundred yards here and you will see a lighted path guiding you to the Moonwell. Be prepared to fight multiple aggressive bears and they will gang up on you.

Yes the location of Shael is crealy stated in the quest info.
If you still having problems finding her do this:

Go to (47, 56) then turn to (51, 47) and you will be @ Moonwell the location of Shael'dryn is (53, 46)

2 hints here:&nbsp I would start by heading to the moonwell east of Iris Lake.

Duh, looking for the moonwell, easy.

now the hard one:&nbsp When you're ready, follow the road and turn north when you reach a small sitting area on your left.

They mean SMALL.&nbsp Its a single bench, with a book on it.&nbsp I am standing at 49,56 and the bench is right in front of me.

From here, walk straight North, you will find it from there.

Yes it is at 53.46&nbsp here is the easy way .. If you make it to 50.52&nbsp go north till you see some path lanterns and they will lead you directly to it ..&nbsp enjoy

There is two quests before this one, to find Teronis' corpse. Then to get the gem. The corpse of Teronis is at 20, 42. Kill the murlocs to get the gem, its a random drop off them. Then you can bring the gem to Raene.

dare i say... duh? this is the 3rd part of the quest chain.. to even get to where you have to go, you need to kill the bears first.. i didn't see any mention of an iron pommel in this part of the quest except for someone who commented.. quit confussing those that are stuck on this 3rd part of the quest

Follow th road east out of Astranaar past Iris Lake, you will see some ruins with a bench on your left, head north here. You will then see patio lanterns that light your way up the hill and then east into the moonwell. On the world map you can see a little indent in the mountain range where the Moonwell is.
