The Hidden Shrine is northwest of Raynewood Retreat. You'll find yourself going up into the mountains.. and there is indeed a path. It just takes a little looking for. My coordinates for the Hidden Shrine were 56,49.

The Hidden Shrine isn't a building but rather a large stone with a small hole and a glowing inside the hole.

The previous comments for this particular quest had me going all over the place. I found the Shrine and hopefully my comment helps you find it too.

When you leave the Shaedryl, you're going west (left), then the path bends south (down), follow that until you can turn left (east) along the bottom of the mountain.&nbsp You will enter a large open area with a lot of bears.&nbsp Go east a little more until you are a little to the left of and exactly even (top to bottom) with the words Raynewood Retreat.&nbsp Imagine if it said "The Raynewood Retreat", you'd be standing about the 't' or the 'h'.

Now turn north (left).&nbsp You will come to a narrow path. You are traveling du north.&nbsp This sort of dead end's where a root is sticking up out of he ground vertically.&nbsp Veer/turn right here.&nbsp You will see a faint path.&nbsp This path wides around the top of a hill.&nbsp You start at the bottom (6 o'clock) and follow the narrow 'ledge' to the left (counter clockwise). At the top of the path is a tree.&nbsp The shrine in the base of the tree.

That's it!

Simply loop around the base of the hill as you leave Shael'dryn. You'll come to a winding path leading back up the hill. The shrine is at the end of that trail in the case of a tree.

but all i had done was forget to accept the quest at the hidden shrine. go back there, click she cog on the shrine again and accept. then try to complete the quest...

To do this quest you just need to go to 50,75 near Mystral Lake then use your Rod to transform to the furbolg and speak with Krolg ( he wouldn't speak with you until you don't transform to the furbolg form ) ...

After giving Shael'dryn the key and accepting the next part of the quest, she did not give me anything.&nbsp

can you abandon this quest and put the rod in the bank then comeback and retake the quest? That way you could keep the rod indefinatley and still complete the quest?

if you go through raynewoods retreat and stay to the left as you meet the bears stay to the left and you see an alcove up out of the alcove to the left over the hill at cords 56,49

Once you get the completed charged rod, abandon this next quest. Keep this rod for shapeshifting fun as a furbolg!

The experience given at this part of the quest is 230.

Well this is one long quest but it has been fun doing it. There are two rocks with a log in the middle of them next to the road to the left right before Raewood Retreat (sorry about the spelling).

Turn up that path and the hidden shrine is up there just follow the path and it will lead you to it....the path winds around a big tree that takes you up there.

**Very Important** After you click on the rock the first time you must click on the rock again to continue the quest, then head back to the moonwell to turn it in.

the quest says the shrine is in the mountains SE of the glade, but you have to be looking north to find it. It's absolutely correct. There is a path (not of stone, but of grass that looks shadowed) curving around one of the mountains directly SE of the glades (on the side of the mountain facing AWAY from the glades, hence the "looking north" part of the quest). The shrine is simply one of the stones with a glowing light in the middle, and it's hidden in a hollow tree, but the path leads right to it. If you enlarge your map to the max, it shows the path quite well.

for some reason I didn't get the next part of the quest. I got the rod but nothing else happened.

I seemed to have mis-placed the rod. Does anyone know how to get it back or the NPC where the original quest was given? Thanks.
