Description

The grand Isha Awak is lord of these waters. Great is his strength, and solemn his pride. The humans on the coast fear him, for he has consumed many of their number.

But I do not fear him. I am grateful he is here. He is a worthy challenge, and honorable prey.

If you are ready, then swim out and search for Isha Awak, the Deep Doom.

His spirit dwells in his heart, and to hear its beat is to know your fate.

How many of you have actually figured out you can click the name of the mob and then click the MAP that shows where it has been killed most frequently?

I never use coords. I just click the map. =D

You might not find him at 63,53 so check at 65,47. He spawns at both places, and there's a tiny, tiny, tiny chance that he may not drop the heart, as he did it with me. He's fairly easy at 27, so I would suggest getting to that level before trying to kill him. Otherwise, kill the mob first and then head for him, if you're going at a low level.

The one trick to remember, is that if you are casting spells, he will resist all unless you are physically in the water, or on one of the small islands nearby. The aggressive mobs bearby can be handled without getting agro from Isha Awak, so kill them off, then take him out.

I have killed this guy numerous times. Most of the time I have found him at 65, 47. I just recently found him as far south as 63, 53.
So basicly just scour up and down the coast from the pirate ship to just past North Watch, killing the Makrura while looking for him. I got a few greens while doing this myself.

I am under the impression that he shares spawn points with the Makrura in the area.

His corpse was laying there from a previous killer, and then he appeared.&nbsp So now he's laying on his own corpse.. :D

Edit-&nbsp While fishing in the same area, he respawned within 5 mins.

You can't put out coordinates for Isha Awak. He's spawning a little everywhere every time. Try to search for him south of Mahrens camp, at the coast close to Northwatch Hold.

Took him down easily with level 25 mage with average gear.&nbsp Lost about 1/3 health by end of fight.&nbsp It's a nice reward if you don't already have a good wand, and the 2750 exp is sweet too.&nbsp He's usually swimming around in the shallows just to the east of Northwatch Hold castle.&nbsp

If you had the quest, the most likely reason it wasn't dropping the heart was because you were in a raid.&nbsp You can't quest in a raid.&nbsp Had you just left the battlegrounds? Remember, even if everyone has left the raid and you are the only one in the raid, you are still in a raid. :)

Mahren Skyseer gives this quest, she's located at 65, 43 on Tidus Stair. Isha is lvl 27 but I still killed it with a lvl 25 hunter.

Isha Awak can found as far south as Northwatch Hold or he could be right near Mahren Skyseer. He's a level 24 mob and there are aggressive mobs in the sea as well. But if you can get him alone, it's a quick fight.

63,53 I've killed it before near the beach by the pirate ship, it's now just east of Northold.

Looks like a Loch Ness monster, swims toward shore and back out a bit, sometimes pops head above water. Found first time opposite Northwatch castle (there is an unlocked chest in the water there to open), the 2nd time south of quest giver and pirate ship (opposite first 'beach'). Don't bother farming, the green item drop rate is only 2.3%. Do clear any Slimeshells nearby first. If you are in trouble just get on an island or land and neither of you can hit each other (Isha will regain full health instantly). I killed with level 23 Warlock, 2nd time got a fair number of resists and had to sacrafice voidwalker pet to finish the job.

Took Isha on as a level 23 Orc Warrior. Only managed it thanks to a healing potion and a scroll that boosted my stamina for the duration of the fight.

At level 24+ you should be capable of killing Isha solo without a problem. At level 22/23 you may find it harder.

I happened to find his body prior to himself. He seems to haver about 2-3 minutes spawn time and will be on different locations atround Northwatch. He spawned at 64,51 for me.
Very easy for his level, took only about half my mana at level 25 (arcane mage). He is not immune to frostnova as I had suspected.

As levache already said, there are 2 choices of rewards, + one belt.

lvl 23 ud rogue-
used evasion, poison on blades 5 charges then evis, potted then gouged then bandaged, did it all over again with 5 charges and evis. i got to about 15% life.

Very hard for me with lvl 22 druid. He floats around the northwatch hold area... i've died twice so far :( he has hit me for 100 plus a few times. can't seem to kill it in bear form w/ healing either. Maybe it would be easier to use magic but my mana runs out too fast.

Anyone got any suggestions?

So much for its a sea creature and cant go on land. I cast a searing totem and it came onto the litte island i was hiding on. If you know a way to show screenshots I'll post it.

I actually found this quite ahrd as a level 23 warrior, maybe magic is easier to beat him with, because he blocked or parried nearly all of my attacks.....
