Description

Now, <name>, you must face the great thunder lizards. So large are the beasts, the ground rumbles as they stomp across the plains. Take care as you fight them, for one false step and you may find yourself beneath their feet.

You will find the thunder lizards in the southern Barrens. They are known as Stormsnouts, Stormhides and Thunderheads. Return to me after you have bested them.

Just outside of Camp Taurajo are Thunder Lizards, high drop rate 50% or so.

They are right along the road from Camp Taurajo headed to Thousand Needles.&nbsp If you get to the Great Lift you have gone too far.

Head directly east, the thunderheads there are 19-21 and have a good spawn time. Find Owatanka and collect his tail spike and examine it to start http://classicdb.ch/?quest=884 for a turn in at Jorn Skyseer and finish two birds with one stone.
hes a 24 named, so he hits decent, but nothign special. At 20 my druid ate him.

Yes - Stormsnouts are right around the corner from Camp T, but I say you should focus on Stormhides due to (according to my experience) superior drop rate.

Go just south outside of Camp Taurajo and they should be everywhere. There also east. Kill Thunderheads.

look at 49,60 for Thunderheads (east of Camp T)... and south of Camp T.

there are no mobs called "Thunder Lizards" around here.

I killed thunderheads - and not very many before I had the 3 bloods.&nbsp Did get killed by nasty Azzere the Skyblade (lvl 25 flying thing) but pffft!

&nbsp i am kill thunderheads in this lokacion and from&nbsp this monsters drop Thunder Lizard Blood.

Did this as a 19 hunter (18 pet) had a 1/3 drop rate on the Stormsnouts and 2/3 drop rate on the Thunderheads. Didnt kill any of the other ones.

quest is easy when you go after the STORMSNOUTS just outside the camp taurajo going towards crossroads. Co-ordinates are 46,55 where you will find 3 lizards that are easy to kill....

i was able to find a pretty large concentrationof tunderheads (which also drop the blood needed for this quest) by heading east out of camp taurajo. there is this old ruined tent thing by the road and just past that there was pleanty of them. I did get plowed by some alliance outriders that wondered by (i thought they were players at first glance) so might want to keep an eye out for them if you are around this area.

Easy quest, Go north of camp taurajo. ( 46,55 )

1700 XP to me isnt worth it for this one. Drop rate is very low. North of Camp Taurajo is the best place to find the Thunder Lizards

Done very easily as a lvl 17 BE Rogue. Drop rate was 100%, and if it wasn't for some odd 4 member patrol of NPC Night Elves. I wouldn't have died at all.

I had to kill 23 thunder lizards in total, 16 were thunderheads. The drop rate seemed to be the same for all 3 thunder lizards.

You gain 1700 experience.
Your reputation with Thunder Bluff has greatly increased.

whild doing this quest it is beneficial to do travel to 46,50 in the barrens and kill lakota'mani and collect his hoof to begin a quest thats worth 1,300 xp. he has a long travel route so he is sorta hard to find, but its worth it

just kill 3 or 4 thunder lizard... they are big mobs like dinosaurs near camp taurajo... there is also another mob like them near camp taurajo it will drop a this item begins a Q.. its blue colour

Higher lvl drop more often, so thoose lvl 20 has very low drop rate
