Description

Ishamuhale, Speartooth, is the fiercest sunscale raptor of the Barrens. He does not hunt for sport, nor for food. He hunts because hunting is his passion. He kills because it is his nature to kill.

And you will learn of his nature, <name>, for your path now follows the taloned tracks of Ishamuhale.

Begin the hunt. Slay his favorite prey, a zhevra, then bring its carcass to the dead tree northwest of Ratchet. Ishamuhale will smell the carcass and be drawn to it.

Be ready when he comes.

First of all, once you've got this quest, any Zhevra will drop the fresh carcass.

Northwest of Ratchet (https://classicdb.ch/?npc=3257), there is a dead looking tree near the mountains. Stand near the tree and use the carcass, and Ishamuhale will appear.

He is a lvl 19 raptor but puts up a good fight for only being 19. To find the tree exit ratchet and go north on top of the ridge. The tree is inbetween the ridge and a hill.

No problem killing him for my 19 hunter - just wanted to add to the directions.

If you look on your mini map = one of the 'legs' (hill to top of thorn hill) points directly east and the map even has a small circle exactly where this tree is located.

There are some bushes around it that might make you think it's the wrong one but go on & put dat carcass down!

First kill a zehvra and loot the carcass...the go at 59,31 or 60,30...when u are near a big dead tree right click on the carcass and wait some sec for the raptor...its tamable lvl 19 red colour..

Like that person said ~ get a flesh from those zebra , should drop within 1-3 kills , then go under the tree 60,30 (its a tree without leaves) then activate the meat and .... the stupid raptor will come out.

If you are getting good XP from this kill just kill more Zhevras and you can continue to kill the raptor. I've done it 3 times in a row.

Just leave Ratchet to the west and go north. Walk along the east side of the mountain (where the lions, raptors and hyenas are) and you'll see a big tree without leafs. There's Zehvra's there too, just kill a few. I got the carcass on the first one. Stand close to the tree and right-click (use) the carcass and it says 'summoning...'. For me a lvl 19 (not elite) Raptor spawned and I had killed him in a few seconds (level 21 Warrior but still it was VERY easy).

Quite easy.

while im glad that everyone comleted this task with ease (i did too) i had to sift to get to the coords so -- 60, 30. Im sure you too will complete with extreme ease.

There's always a Zhevra around that area to so u can get your fresh Zhevra Carcass when you get there.

59,30 is right.&nbsp NW of Ratchet is right.&nbsp Read the quests before ragging on them.&nbsp It is directly east of Crossroads.&nbsp There are Zhevra near the dead tree, kill one, take meat, place near tree and Ishamule comes immediately.&nbsp Nothing special at all.

this was so easy. lvl19 undead rogue went from 511 hp to 430 hp. skinned for one light leather. 59,30 was the dead tree

Like everyone else has said he is very easy. I just did this quest with my lvl 19 rogue the first Zhevra i killed had the meat. Clicked it, it spawned 30 secs later he was dead.

I have been over to try and kill this guy three times and he has never spawned. I wanted it so i could do the next sequential quests but had to give up on the idea since this guy never spawned.

I can't accept this quest @ lvl 24. I spoke to the quest giver and he has nothing for me. Do I need to kill a mob first to start the quest?
