You need Sunscale Feathers in order to touch the nests. These are dropped by Sunscale Scytheclaws (raptors) that are around the nest area.

Coordinates at like 52,46. Head south from Crossroads and you'll notice a mound off the left of the road before you reach the bridge. The eggs are around that mound.

if oyur doing the lost in battle quest where you need to find the remains. Head south from xroads until you see a bridge, when your at the bridge the remains are in a hut that you can see to your right, if you look behind you and to the left you will see the nests. All you do is put a feather into the nest and your done, they are all right next to each other and were being gaurded by about 6 raptors at the time. piece-o-cake.

Centaur path through this area, so keep an eye out. If you're soloing two scytheclaws at once a centaur party pathing through your fight can really tip the balance fast.

Darksword's instructions are outstanding!&nbsp Don't know how you can miss the glowing nests by the small hill!

When I went = there was only one raptor to kill so it took me a while to get the feathers. But otherwise, ezpz!

Thanks Darksword!

Don't worry about gathering up a bunch of feathers before looking for the eggs. You really only need like 3, one for each nest. I had close to ten and it was a little redundant. If you're looking for a big gathering of Raptors then go to the big mountain in between Ratchet and Northwatch Hold, south-east of the Crossroads. There are tonnes there! Not necessary to go as far as the bridge south of Crossroads.

Good luck :)

Exactly how do you place the feathers in the nest? I right-click on the feathers...put them over the nest, and nothing happens. I dont' see the little gear wheel thingy, so I'm really struggling with this one.

Just wanted to let everyone know that the nests are right near the road on the East side just before the bridge, if you turn that way and run toward it, you will see the glowing nests right away. My drop rate was about 50%, but you do not have to get the feathers from the ones directly by the nests. I went around to the southeast, not too far, and got the other feather I needed for the last nest. The whole thing (once I actually found it) took no more than 5 minutes. Of course, by then I was lvl20. You do not have to select the feathers though...just right click on the egg- looking things where it gives you the symbol and it will do the job automatically.

@ Mortis:
you said:"BTW, how to reptilian creatures have feathers?"

Answer is really easy (being a hunter I saw those raptors up close).. They wear bands around their legs and well, sad excuses for arms... ^^ They have feathers attaches to them (So basicly you can also take out their supposed foodsource for the same feather.. but I guess that doesn't work for this quest.. ^^)

Once again, thanx for all the advice.. on my way to do the quest!

Very easy quest. At first I thought it was at the "Raptor Grounds" but it isn't. It's at the cords 52,46(Titan Panel Cords). Couple raptors guarding, besides that, very easy. Did it at level 17, shaman.

It seems like rather random drop to me. I got my first feather from my first sunscale, my other from the next, my third from the third, but i know you can go over 3 feathers. I wasn't capable doing the quest (3 raptors guarding, i were level 14 or maybe 15).
So i just didnt care until i reached level 16. How many raptors that guards seems very random, too. Next time i checked it was only 2 raptors in the area, and one of them were just in sight, and didnt even react on the others call for help. I killed many raptors till i reached 16, too, and none of them dropped feathers.
Very random...

South of Crossroads there is a bridge. When you get to it turn around and look for a small mound. There will be 3 raptor eggs each one with a colorful glow (blue, red, and yellow). There are quite a few raptors but When i did it someone happened to be fighting them already. Walked in, Walked out, got on with my life.

Cor: 52.46 (The info to go to the bridge south of Crossroads and turn around and look for a mound is very good advice for non-cor users)
You just need one feather for each nest. The raptors around the nests pulled one at a time really well with my shaman's instant cast.

You can find the mobs for Sunscale Feathers here:
http://classicdb.ch/?item=5165

Looks like focusing on Sunscale Scytheclaws will get you the feathers fastest. :) I found a bunch by walking southeast of the nest (none were around it, probably killed earlier) toward Northwatch Hold.
