For all you n00bs...The thunderhawks are WINGED SERPENTS....Not giants, not Kodos, and not your typical bird. If you are in Camp T, go north, south, east, or west! Its your choose! Kill one, then TADA! It drops! Its that simple!

I choose south, not even 3 seconds from the camp...if you are a caster you could probably hit one from the camp LOL

I was level 17 when I completed this quest.&nbsp I used a gun to pull the thunderhawk near me and while I was hitting it, I backed up towards the town guard.&nbsp The guard just finished it off for me and the quest was complete while it was still orange.

These beasts are all over, which is why people are giving different coords.&nbsp Another person might not find one at a given coord but it doesn't make the coords incorrect for the person who got them.&nbsp In fact I had been killing these things before I ever got the quest, and even had one that agroed to my new cat (got rid of the Rake and tamed Ekeyashee earlier in this chain) while I killed the last Thunderhead.

Just go out and find one.&nbsp Looking for a fixed spot to kill one of these, would be a little like looking for a fixed spot to kill a wolf in Duskwood or a scorpid in Durotar.&nbsp There's areas with higher vs lower lvl mobs in general, but you'll find them.

The exact location of a greater thunderhawk is 46,73. Just go south on the path from Camp T until you see what seems to be of a burnt up post, look left and there is a tree. The thunderhawks should be under or around it.

Why can't I get this quest? I'm a level 21 Blood Elf warlock and I'm trying to follow a leveling guide and it says to do this quest.. But I can't accept it or even the chain of quests....

1950 exp for this. these things are easy up to lvl 20 as an 18 warrior. but the 20's can hit you for 80dmg so try to use the thunderclap as they will attack less.
